Orang Buta Pendengarannya Tajam???

Sudah sejak lama para ilmuwan sudah tahu bahwa orang tuli atau buta memiliki indera yang lebih tajam selain indera mereka yang mengalami kecacatan.

Namun apa sebenarnya yang terjadi dan bagaimana mekanisme kompensasi itu bekerja belum begitu jelas bisa digambarkan.

Sekarang, sebuah penelitian di bidang saraf atas beberapa ekor kucing pada edisi Oktober Jurnal Nature Neuroscience menjelaskan fenomena itu.

Jaringan Hewan

Jaringan adalah kumpulan sel sejenis yang memiliki struktur dan fungsi yang sama untuk membentuk suatu organ

Ada 4 jaringan utama pada hewan.

1. Jaringan epitel (Epithelium tissue)
2. Jaringan ikat    (Connective tissue)
3. Jaringan otot   (Muscle tissue)
4. Jaringan saraf  (Nervous tissue)

Jaringan Epitel

Jaringan epitel adalah jaringan yang melapisi permukaan tubuh dan membatasi rongga tubuh.

Jaringan epitel yang melapisi lapisan luar tubuh disebut epitelium.Jaringan Epitel yang membatasi  rongga disebut mesotelium. Sedangkan jaringan epitel yang membatasi organ disebut endothelium.
